John O'Keefe

Co-President, Clark Construction Group

As co-president of Clark Construction, John O’Keefe sets the strategic direction of the company’s heavy civil portfolio and self-perform operations and provides executive oversight of Clark affiliates, Guy F. Atkinson Construction, Shirley Contracting Company, C3M Power Systems, Clark Water, Clark Civil, Clark Concrete, and Clark Foundations.

John previously served as Clark’s chief operating officer, working with regional executives to optimize project performance and achieve financial, schedule, safety, and quality goals.

John has overseen the successful completion of multiple complex building and civil projects nationwide, including the Atlanta Quarry Tunnel, I-15/I-215 Devore Interchange Improvements, Two Liberty Place, Market Square North Mixed Use, 2400 M Street, Brooke Army Medical Center, National Museum of the American Indian, and the Douglas A. Munro Coast Guard Headquarters Building.

John earned his bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and has completed the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Executive Program.

He is a member of the Construction Industry Ethics and Compliance Initiative and the Pennsylvania State University Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (PACE) program. He is a past member and department chair of the Pennsylvania State University Industrial and Professional Advisory Council.
